Description

Baseline finger (digit) goniometers

  • Measures 110° flexion through 40° hyperextension in 2° increments on a plastic model (5° increments on metal model)
  • Arm has 10 cm/4” linear scale
  • Use one finger to move the measurement head through flexion, extension and hyperextension
  • Readings can be taken using only one hand; freeing the therapist’s other hand to stabilize the patient during measurement or to record the measurement; standard finger goniometers require two hands to take a finger ROM measurement
